  The US Postal service in general is pretty shabby anyway. However this post office takes the cake for laziness. They don't even deserve 1 star. If you have a package that is too big for your mailbox they will pull into your driveway and honk their horn until you come out and get it from them or even worse than that they will put a notice in your mailbox informing you that you have to go to the post office and pick it up yourself. Why the hell do we have the postal service anyways if the customers/citizens have to do the work. Excuse me? You want me to come and pick up the package I paid to have delivered to my door? We should just abolish the postal service and exclusively use Fedex or UPS because at least they will bring it to your door every time. At least with those 2 companies we are actually getting something for our money.

  When I was 8-9 months pregnant over the winter I had to do a lot of online shopping (I had a condition where I could barely walk, which I explained to this mail lady numerous times). She would honk her horn continuously for over 10 minutes at least once every week instead of putting the packages on the porch.. Then, many times they would leave a note in the mailbox instead of leaving the package at the door. Our driveway is not long and is only about 15 feet from the door. They rarely ever actually deliver the packages anymore; they make me go to the post office to pick it up. Anyway, fast forward a year later today.... I now have an infant and I can't get to the door quickly from upstairs when I'm tending to him. The same mail carrier sat outside in my driveway in the pouring rain honking the horn twice every 2-3 minutes for 18 minutes (I timed it!) for me to come outside and get my package. It took all of my being not to storm outside using profanity to express my frustration and amazement at the level of LAZINESS being displayed. But, I didn't; I sat in the living room watching her until finally, she angrily got out of her car and did her job (actually, she threw the box up the steps... not hard, but in a neglectful manner). It's a well-known fact that this lady is doing this and numerous complaints have been made. Apparently the postal service doesn't care enough about it to do anything. I try to use FedEx and UPS if I can.. I've had them trudge through a foot of snow to deliver a package after hours.

  This post office should just close down. They don't keep even 2 rolls of stamps for you to purchase most times. Folks are nice enough and very helpful but, all you hear are excuses about single drawer accountability. Customers don't care about that, they care you have stamps to purchase. What kind of post office only have 200 stamps in their possession? Ridiculous and look at the hours! Bankers hours on top of that. Want to send an overnight $19.99 package? Most times they don't even have the envelopes to do it.
